Radioelektronika is a hybrid conference this year

RADIOELEKTRONIKA 2022 is organized by the the Association of Slovak Scientific and Technological Societies – Slovak Electrical Engineering Society in colaboration with the Technical University of Kosice. The scope of the hybrid conference is to create a discussion forum for researchers, academics, peoplein industry, and students who are interested in the latest development in the area of electronics, signal processing, information technologies, microwave technology, their applications and related disciplines. The official language of the convention is English. The conference program will consist of keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, social events, and exhibits. Additional topics relevant to the broad field are also encouraged. Papers are solicited in areas:

Important dates

Authors must electronically submit a full paper (3-4 pages in IEEE template including names of authors, affiliation, abstract, figures, tables, references). All papers will receive 2 peer reviews; authors will receive notification of paper acceptance. If accepted, final papers must be no more than 6 pages and will be submitted electronically. Papers must be presented at the conference during the oral or poster session by the author or co-author. Only the presented papers will be submitted to the final conference proceedings on IEEE Xplore. More information for authors you can find in section “Information for authors”.

Based on the reviews, the conference chairs selected together with organizing committee the "Best Student Paper Award" to Peter Kasák for paper "Towards efficiency of a subjective evaluation for music source separation" and "Best Student Poster Award" to Marek Šimka with paper "Picture Quality of 360° Images Compressed by Emerging Compression Algorithms".

Oral presentation instructions (hybrid)

  • Oral presentations will take place in the Room 001 and Room 003 in Technicom building.
  • All presentation will be in English. Presenter could present in person or using Webex. Instructions for Webex will be sent to all participants.
  • For each oral presentation 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion is allocated.
  • Oral presentation should be prepared as PPT, PPTX or PDF. Please send them in advance to the email: pcm@uvptechnicom.sk and rename your file to 'RE2022 presenter_surname paper_title'.

Posters - only in person

  • Portrait orientation maximum size A1
  • Authors must bring printed posters with them or print them in the university library at their expense.
  • Posters has to be installed on April 21 before 9am.
  • PDF of the poster should be sent in advance for final check to jan.stas@tuke.sk with confirmation of your in person presence during the poster session.
